Personality traits of world
changers may be immediately evident at birth. As infants and children, they
tend to be remarkably astute, bright and attentive to the world around
them. The upbringing of children plays a major role for world changers as
gentleness, compassion and love from their parents and others encourages them
to explore their worlds and make a difference.
Of course, this kind of
emotional stability may not always be the case, as some world changers come
from oppressive, complex and difficult backgrounds without a lot of nurturing.
They seek to change the world because of their own anxiety, frustration or
pain.
Understanding what a world
changer is may help you and others to become world changers in your own way,
too.
What is a world changer?
Dictionary.com com suggests
that change is “to make the form, nature, content,
future course, etc., of (something) different from what it is or from what it
would be if left alone”. This includes changing “the course of history”.
One might argue that this
includes changing the world. While that may seem like an impossible task, it
does happen all the time, whether people are aware of it or not.
World changers are often
dreamers with exceptionally well focused vision. They demonstrate
determination and have an innate desire to bring positive changes to the world
around them and elsewhere. They may be spiritual leaders with a distinct,
proactive and goal-directed purpose. Unfortunately, not all those who seek to
change the world strive for changes for good.
World changers are courageous
over-comers, survivors who become proactive, progressive and knowledgeable
leaders over time. They may be charismatic and able to lead others
successfully, particularly if they serve as educators or role models.
Perfectionism is often their quest, but the quest for perfection can be a
difficult struggle. Some world changers never give up even though their quest
may cost them their lives. In this way, world changers can be self-sacrificial.
World changers often tend to be
good listeners with the ability to speak to others in a way that they can
comprehend. Some are extroverts rather than introverts, although introverts can
spend years working on projects that ultimately bring about changes in the
world.
World changers are by nature positive and constructive decision makers
with the ability to experiment and ‘change channels’ throughout the course of
history, because they are free thinkers who can choose other pathways than the
norm.
Others people often reject
potential world changers because they cannot comprehend their unique vision.
Many world changers struggle for years to achieve what they alone see as a
possible world change for the better.
Some suggest that world
changers have changing the world as their ultimate destiny, while others see
world changes in terms of ‘accidents’, happenings or naturally occurring
events.
Regardless, world changers prove to be conquerors with remarkable personalities, in
every era.
